Do not leave to last minute, make sure you have what you need.
Q. Why do I need a planner???
A. Planning a wedding takes time and we will be your guide. You will be making selections and decisions, but we will be by
your side helping you to make informed decisions. We will help you to design your details, offer ideas that are creative and
unique to you. Its your Wedding Weekend and we want you to be a guest while we take care of every detail. A destination
wedding will feel like your at home when you have someone watching over you.
Q. What season is best in Key West?
A. Weather is very Sunny and in the 70's and 80's from November thru May. In June thru August it is a bit warmer and some afternoon showers.
Sept and Oct. can be up and down depending on the weather and heat, but you often can get the best prices for your celebration!!!
Give us a call and we can discuss what works best for you.
Q. Do I need to block rooms for my guests?
A. We always suggest for larger groups giving a few options in different price ranges but close to each other so everyone can share in the moment!!
We work with most of the hotels and can make arrangements for you and your guests!!!
Q. I'm not sure what kind or how much help I need, do you have different ways to help??
Yes, we can help you in several different ways.
- Our most popular is "lady in waiting" this is perfect for those that want to still have hands on but want guidance and creative input! We then take over about 6 weeks out and you can relax and be the bride!
- We also have a "from beginning to end" for those to busy to pick the details. We create and then present you with options for every detail and then make sure you day is perfect
- "Day of" You have planned everything...NOW ITS TIME TO BE THE BRIDE...you don't want to worry that aunt Jane has the chicken she ordered or the flowers are delivered to the bridesmaid and the napkins have the flowers tucked in each fold. You and your family should be able to relax and enjoy the moment. (we also have a weekend only for delivering guest bags, rehearsals and other fun events)
- Our PRE PACKAGED CHAPEL weddings are wonderful for those that want just want simple and intimate weddings (please see our packages)
Q. Can't I do it myself?
Yes you can and you have been planning and saving pictures for this day, but sometimes its not best to practice when planning the most important
time of your life. Having someone who has experience and knows who, what, and where will make your planning not only easier, but more fun.
Q. How do we get started?
We always start with your story. Where are you both from, why key west, and what do you want to have your celebration tell people? This is
your wedding and we want to make sure your guests feel a part of the celebration. For example when two teachers got married we did a welcome
packet about "Lessons in Love" which told everyone why the coule loved key west, how they met, and place in Key west that the couple loved to
see and eat.
The Promise
After you select the way you would like to help we send you the "Promise" our version of a contract because we feel a wedding is personal and
a promise means more then a business contract , it's "family" helping family!!!
